DCNS India to participate in Clean Ganga Fund

On March 24, DCNS India contributed to Clean Ganga Fund*, an initiative with the main objective to contribute to the India’s national effort of cleaning the river Ganga. Through its donation, DCNS India, as part of DCNS Group, a leader in naval defence and a major player in marine renewable energy, strives to meet its sustainable development and its social responsibilities.

DCNS India’s contribution will enable to tackle major challenges posed to Ganga, holy river of India, in a comprehensive approach adopted by Government of India, through four different modes, wastewater management, solid waste management, industrial pollution and riverfront development.

Bernard Buisson, Managing Director of DCNS India noted: “DCNS India is proud to contribute to Swachh Bharat (Clean India) Mission, in order to ensure effective abatement of pollution and conservation of Ganga River.
