Smart Shooter receives follow-on U.S. Marine Corps contract for SMASH 2000LE fire control systems

[June 9, 2026] – Smart Shooter, a designer, developer, and manufacturer of innovative fire control systems, announced today that it has received a follow-on U.S. Marine Corps contract for soldier-portable SMASH 2000LE (also known as SMASH 3000SA) firecontrol systems.

The $3.4 million contract, issued by Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), includes options for additional systems, spare parts, and training valued at approximately $2.4 million, bringing the potential total contract value up to approximately $5.8 million. Delivery of the products and services, including the options, if exercised, is expected to be completed almost entirely in the fourth quarter of 2026, while a non-material portion of the services will be provided by the end of the first quarter of 2027.

The agreement represents another significant contract in the United States and marks a further step in Smart Shooter’s continued expansion across U.S. defense organizations. Over the past year, the company has signed multiple contracts with U.S. defense organizations, including the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy. These successive awards reflect increasing operational demand among U.S. military branches for Smart Shooter’s solutions in response to the expanding drone threat.

In March 2026, Smart Shooter announced a contract with the U.S. Joint Interagency Task Force JIATF-401 valued at approximately $2.4 million. In May 2026, the company announced a U.S. Army contract valued at approximately $10.7 million, and in early June 2026, Smart Shooter announced its first significant contract with the U.S. Navy, valued at approximately $1.8 million.

Michal Mor, CEO of Smart Shooter, said: “Securing this follow-on contract with the U.S. Marine Corps marks another important step in Smart Shooter’s continued expansion across U.S. defense organizations. This award provides further validation of the operational value of our SMASH systems and their ability to address the growing drone threat at the tactical edge. With deliveries to the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy expected in the coming months, we see continued operational urgency for deploying precise, reliable, and field-ready solutions.”

Smart Shooter’s SMASH family of fire control systems is deployed by defense and security forces in the United States, Israel, the UK, Germany, NATO member countries, and additional allied nations, providing enhanced precision, situational awareness, and effective engagement against evolving battlefield threats.
