► Aselsan and Barzan Holdings sign contract for enhancing their cooperation in Qatar

March 05th, 2024 – ASELSAN and Barzan Holdings, aimed at bolstering defense capabilities and enhancing strategic partnerships, have signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) at DIMDEX 2024, Qatar’s biennial Maritime Defense Exhibition.

These MoUs signify the further collaboration between ASELSAN and Barzan Holdings on possible future agreements for the procurement of ASELSAN solutions and services for the Qatari End Users. ASELSAN shall directly contribute to the localization of the defense industry of Qatar as a part of the strategic alliance with Barzan Holdings.

The first MoU encompasses the transfer of production/technology for the Laser Guidance Kits (LGK) whereas this collaboration marks a significant milestone in advancing airborne defense systems and underscores the commitment to fostering innovation in military technology.

In the second MoU, ASELSAN and Barzan Holdings solidify their commitment to strengthen Land Forces capabilities by initiating collaboration on cutting-edge Electronic Warfare Technology. This agreement underscores the mutual determination to enhance ground-based defense capabilities through the implementation of ASELSAN’s state-of-the-art electronic warfare solutions.
