SMARTSHOOTER secures strategic SMASH 3000 contract in Australia

December 11, 2025 – SMARTSHOOTER, a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced fire control systems, has secured a contract as part of the technology evaluation to the Australian Defence Force project LAND 156 LOE 2. The evaluation will determine the suitability of the SMASH 3000 Fire Control System as part of the Dismounted Interim C-UAS Ensemble.

“The recently fulfilled order marks a strategic breakthrough into the Australian market after significant appraisal of SMASH Fire Control by the ADF, with potential for follow-on purchases in other programs,” commented Lachlan Mercer, Director of SMARTSHOOTER’s Australia & New Zealand Territory. “This further extends SMARTSHOOTER’s established presence in the Asia-Pacific region.”

SMASH 3000 is SMARTSHOOTER’s lightest handheld-operated fire control system. By leveraging artificial intelligence, computer vision, and advanced tracking algorithms, it enables tactical forces to detect, track, and precisely eliminate aerial and ground threats. SMASH 3000 provides a reliable, combat-proven hard-kill solution against drones and sUAS while significantly increasing hit probability in any combat scenario. The delivered system includes advanced situational awareness capabilities that enable real-time target sharing among soldiers via SMARTSHOOTER’s proprietary platform, enhancing operational coordination and efficiency across the battlefield.

Combat-proven and operational with forces in the U.S., Israel, Europe, the UK, and other NATO nations, the SMASH family of fire control systems enhances mission effectiveness, increases situational awareness, and ensures every shot counts. The SMASH family includes handheld-operated, remotely controlled, and UGV-mounted fire control systems, all designed to significantly improve hit probability against both ground and aerial targets, including drones.

Utilizing an onboard computer, SMASH technology locks on the target, tracks its movements, and synchronizes shot release for swift and precise hits. By integrating Artificial Intelligence, computer vision, and advanced ballistic algorithms, the SMASH family transforms standard weapons into precise, smart-shooting platforms. This advanced technology ensures accurate hits, enhances situational awareness, and minimizes collateral damage, enabling forces to operate with superior precision, intelligence, and connectivity.

“We are honored to support the Australian Defence Force and to work alongside yet another highly respected partner,” said Michal Mor, CEO of SMARTSHOOTER. “This marks an important milestone in our long-term commitment to the Australian market, and we look forward to expanding our activities across multiple segments. Our SMASH fire control systems deliver precision capabilities at the moments they are needed most – whether the threat is airborne or ground-based, and we remain committed to providing superior operational advantage to our Australian partners.”
