HAVELSAN’s mission planning software to power HÜRJET and expand to Europe with Spain export

Ankara, Türkiye | April 21, 2026

HAVELSAN’s Mission Planning System (FSGP) will be exported to Spain as a core operational component of the HÜRJET program, marking a significant milestone in the global expansion of HAVELSAN’s mission critical defense software capabilities.

At the center of this capability is HAVELSAN’s mission planning architecture, which defines how modern air operations are planned, executed, and evaluated. Developed through more than two decades of engineering expertise and in active operational use since 2007, FSGP serves as the primary mission planning system of the Turkish Air Force, supporting multiple aircraft and munitions through a unified and scalable structure.

By replacing fragmented legacy systems with a single integrated environment, HAVELSAN enables faster mission planning, real-time coordination, and data driven decision making directly impacting operational effectiveness in complex and high-tempo scenarios.

Driving Operational Capability in HÜRJET and Beyond

Within the HÜRJET program, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries, HAVELSAN’s FSGP is positioned as a mission critical layer that enables the aircraft’s operational use. The system will be delivered to both Türkiye and Spain, ensuring a common mission planning capability across users.

In parallel, HAVELSAN is delivering a full mission and flight training simulator for HÜRJET, reinforcing its role not only in software but also in end to end operational readiness.

Defining the Shift to Software-Driven Air Power

HAVELSAN’s FSGP reflects a fundamental shift in air operations: operational superiority is no longer determined solely by platforms, but by the software that connects, plans, and manages them.

The system integrates advanced capabilities such as smart weapon mission planning, electromagnetic spectrum management, low observability planning, infrared search and tracking integration, and network-enabled operations. It also extends to unmanned aerial vehicle mission planning and control, enabling coordinated operations across manned and unmanned assets.

With AI-supported features, HAVELSAN enables synchronized mission planning across multiple platforms, significantly reducing planning timelines while increasing mission success rates.

A Scalable Architecture for Future Air Forces

HAVELSAN continues to expand FSGP across next-generation platforms. The system is being integrated into HÜRJET, while integration activities for Türkiye’s next generation fighter program, KAAN, are actively ongoing.

Through this expanding ecosystem, HAVELSAN provides air forces with a unified, interoperable, and future ready mission planning capability eliminating the need for multiple disconnected systems and enabling seamless multi-platform operations.

The export of FSGP to Spain represents more than a program milestone. It positions HAVELSAN as a global provider of mission critical software that directly shapes how modern air operations are conducted.
