►FN Browning Group makes capital investment in FN UK

FN Browning Group has made a circa £13M capital investment in its UK subsidiary FN UK.
This investment shows the commitment FN Browning Group have in the UK business and the importance of retaining a manufacturing facility in the UK.
Following the UK MOD announcement of the contract they placed with FN UK for the Mid Life Improvement of the .50 Cal Heavy Machine Gun at DSEI, Julien Compere, CEO of FN Browning Group, announced the capital investment. This thirteen-million-pound investment shows FN’s determination to stand by the UK MOD, not only to meet their needs in small arms, but also to strengthen the UK’s security of supply and strategic autonomy.
As the only company manufacturing assault rifles and machine guns in the country, FN UK regards the British Armed Forces as more than just a partner: they are the reason the company exists.

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of FN UK. This investment is strengthening our relationship with the British Armed Forces, which is precisely why this company was created in 1975. FN UK will be here in years to come, supporting major programmes such as Grayburn, the Army’s rifle replacement programme, along with the MOD’s HMG Mid-Life Improvement programme.
