► Aselsan opens Balkans Office
Skopje, 2 September 2024 – ASELSAN has officially opened a new regional office in Skopje, in themcapital city of North Macedonia, as part of its global expansion strategy. The company aims to provide an enhanced service to the partners in Balkans with this new office.
ASELSAN, Türkiye’s leading defense company, has been active in North Macedonia since 2014 and is now elevating its presence in Balkans with the new office in Skopje. The opening ceremony, marking a significant step in ASELSAN’s global expansion, was attended by Pro f. Dr. Haluk Görgün, Secretary of Defence Industries, Türkiye, and Ahmet Akyol, ASELSAN’s CEO President.
Establishing a regional office in Skopje, which holds a central position as a gateway to both western and Eastern European markets, will provide numerous strategic advantages to ASELSAN such as facilitating its access to Balkans and increasing its collaborations in the region.
ASELSAN Balkans office will conduct marketing and business development activities and focus on customer satisfaction and pos t sales support for countries that have ASELSAN products and systems in their inventory. ASELSAN, which has already made sales to nearly all Balkan countries, aims to increase the number of users and their satisfaction with its military and civilian solutions through this new office.
The office is expected to stand out in the military field as well as in the civilian sector with highway toll collection systems and smart transportation system solutions.
