► DroneShield announces US joint interagency Task Force 401 contract
2 June 2026 – DroneShield Limited (ASX:DRO) (DroneShield or the Company) is pleased to announce that it has received a $24.9 million contract supporting the mission of the US Department of War’s Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401). The contract has an initial value of $19.3 million, with an additional $5.6 million in options of the end-user over a 5-year period.
The contract is for the supply of mobile and fixed site counter-drone solutions, comprising hardware, subscriptions, warranties and services. DroneShield hardware is available from existing planned production, with a series of deliveries in 2026 and 2027.
Alongside DroneShield’s products, the contract requires DroneShield to purchase and install third party interoperable solutions. Payments will be received for the initial value from second half of 2026 through the first half of 2027.
This contract’s initial value of $19.3 million, of which at least $10 million is anticipated to be Committed Revenue1 for FY2026, with the balance for recognition in FY2027.

JIATF-401 is the US Department of War’s premier organisation to synchronise C-UAS efforts across the Joint Force, helping allies and partners rapidly acquire state-of-the-art C-UAS capability to respond to the evolving threat of drones.
