► DSTA and Everis ADS to drive innovation in remotely operated vehicles

5 March 2024 – Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) and Everis Aerospacial Y Defensa, S.L.U. (aunav Division) have signed a Collaboration Agreement (CA) on the sidelines of the Singapore Airshow on 22 February 2024.

The partnership will see DSTA and Everis’ robotic division, Everis ADS (aunav Division), collaborating to develop and enhance modular, multi-mission capabilities for remotely operated vehicles. This will accelerate the adaptation of robotics, enhance its versatility and also streamline the development process, enabling experimentation with new use cases faster than before.

Areas of collaboration cover the development of prototypes integrated on the aunav.Neo HD platform, to transport heavy loads while traversing challenging obstacles such as stairs and debris. The robot will also be integrated to DSTA’s Robotics Command, Control and Communications (C3) System, to enable multi-robot control by a single user.

“DSTA’s partnership with Everis ADS (aunav) will further advance our robotics capabilities for defence. Everis has deep expertise in robotics platforms and DSTA has the domain knowledge in C3 systems and operational scenarios. There is mutual benefit to collaborate, and we are excited with this CA,” said DSTA’s Director Land Systems, Mr Alex Lee.

“Teaming up with one of the world’s leading agencies implies we can augment our reach, efficiency, and capabilities in the unmanned ground vehicle area. This collaboration allows us to continually deploy cutting-edge technology to ensure safety and foster progress.”, said aunav’s CEO, Rafael de Solis.
