► NATO DIANA announces five innovators selected for Mission Track
NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) is proud to announce the selection of the first five innovators advancing to the Mission Track of the DIANA Accelerator Programme. This is an important milestone for innovators as they advance their technologies towards operational use across the Alliance.
Mission Track is a follow-on element of DIANA’s Accelerator Programme and is available to innovators who demonstrate strong defence interest and alignment with Allied operational needs. The first five companies to be selected for the Mission Track come from DIANA’s 2026 cohort of 150 companies, selected through a highly competitive challenge call, which received over 3,600 proposals. In total, up to 15 innovators will be invited to join the Mission Track over the next couple of months.
Innovators who join the Mission Track will receive up to €300,000 in additional contractual funding, as well as targeted adoption guidance to support moving towards operational readiness and adoption at scale. Additional testing and validation budgets and other opportunities will also be available to these innovators.
The selected Mission Track innovators are:
· Fieldmade (Norway) – Deployable additive manufacturing micro-factories.
· JET Connectivity (UK) – Sovereign, AI-driven 5G mesh solution for contested, denied, or compromised environments.
· Mesodyne (US) – Silent, reliable portable power generation from any fuel.
· SkyFi (US) – Earth intelligence platform to enable mobility decision support in contested and crisis conditions.
· Spacedrip (Estonia) – Autonomous deployable closed-loop water-reuse systems for remote and extreme sites.
“NATO DIANA’s Mission Track is where innovation moves from promise to capability, helping innovators go the extra mile towards adoption. The five companies selected for Mission Track have demonstrated outstanding potential with their groundbreaking defence tech, and reaching this stage is a significant achievement. We are excited to see what they do next,” said Jyoti Hirani-Driver, Managing Director, NATO DIANA.
The five innovators selected for Mission Track in June will begin the programme immediately. These five innovators are companies with strong momentum – deemed the most likely to benefit from immediate tailored adoption support. Up to 10 additional companies will be selected for Mission Track in August. Mission Track will therefore consist of an adoption-focussed 5-7 month programme designed to help innovators move towards operational readiness and adoption at scale.
