Terma has entered into an agreement to acquire Dencrypt A/S, a Danish company specializing in end-to-end encrypted communications. Dencrypt will strengthen Terma’s portfolio with one of Denmark’s most advanced sovereign encryption technologies, expanding Terma’s ability to deliver trusted solutions that protect and enable the secure exchange of critical information across defense, government, critical infrastructure and private companies. By bringing Dencrypt into Terma Group, the company combines world-class Danish cryptographic expertise with Terma’s international reach, industrial capabilities and long-standing relationships across defense and security. The ambition is to further develop Dencrypt’s technology into a market leading sovereign secure communications solution, ensuring Denmark, allied nations and trusted international partners have access to trusted encryption technology developed and controlled in Denmark. Dencrypt’s technology provides end-to-end encryption for voice, video, messaging and data across standard smartphones, tablets and computers without requiring specialized communications hardware.
