Seafuture 2021: Maritime domain at 360 degrees

With over 80% of its national borders touched by the sea, and located at the center of the Mediterranean, Italy has a key role in the worldwide maritime domain at ‘360 degrees’. The seventh edition of the Seafuture exhibition and conference, which takes place from 28 September to 1 October in the La Spezia Naval Base, sees the gathering of national and international naval defence players that participate to conferences, meetings, exhibition, seminars and workshops on the maritime domain at ‘360 degrees’. Around 9,000 square meters of exhibition space between the historic buildings of the Naval Base, host over 50 foreign navies and coast guards together with seven general secretariats of defence and five hydrographic institute delegations, alongside around 200 major and small-to-medium exhibiting companies, together with maritime cluster organizations and the participation of Italian Government Ministries and institutions togethers with the Italian Navy, welcoming and presenting their capabilities and platforms: these are the figures and facts presented at the Seafuture 2021 press conference by Cristiana Pagni, president of Italian Blue Growth (IBG) as well as promoter of the event, together with the Chief of the Italian Navy, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone. Seafuture is organized by IBG in cooperation with the Italian Navy, with the support of local institutions and Italian Industries Federation for Aerospace, Defence and Security (AIAD), among others.
