DRASS and AITRONIK Join Forces in Advancing Autonomous Underwater Navigation

Livorno, 15 July 2025 – As part of its commitment to bringing together top players in underwater technology, DRASS announces the formalization of its partnership with AITRONIK, marking a significant step in the evolution of autonomous underwater navigation. Leveraging the vast potential of the underwater environment and cutting-edge sensor technology, the collaboration aims to develop modular solutions for autonomous underwater navigation, seamlessly integrating artificial intelligence and state-of-the-art sensor capabilities. Central to this initiative are DRASS’ DS8 and Ronda vehicles, serving as key platforms, with participation from a variety of distinguished Italian specialist firms.

DRASS SW Design Coordinator, Eng.
