► Sisu Auto and Szczęśniak sign Memorandum of Understanding at MSPO 2026 in Poland
Sisu Auto, a Finnish manufacturer of military and heavy-duty vehicles, and the Polish special vehicle manufacturer Szczęśniak Pojazdy Specjalne have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the international MSPO defence industry exhibition in Poland on 10 September 2026.
The purpose of the agreement is to strengthen cooperation between the companies and to jointly develop military vehicle solutions for the Polish and international markets. The cooperation will combine the proven SISU GTP vehicle platform with Szczęśniak’s expertise in system integration, vehicle adaptation and mission-specific solutions. The companies also intend to explore opportunities for localisation, development of new vehicle variants and the involvement of the Polish industrial supply chain.
Founded in 1931, Sisu Auto is a Finnish manufacturer of military and heavy-duty vehicles with 95 years of experience in designing, developing and manufacturing highly mobile vehicle platforms for demanding defence and security applications. Throughout its history, the company has delivered reliable mobility solutions for defence forces, security authorities and other professional users in Finland and around the world.
Szczęśniak is a Polish manufacturer of special-purpose vehicles and a system integrator with extensive experience in defence, security and emergency-service applications. The company specialises in vehicle design and outfitting as well as the integration of mechanical, electrical, electronic and hydraulic systems. It develops and manufactures special vehicle bodies, superstructures and mission-specific vehicle solutions tailored to customer requirements.
The complementary expertise of the two companies provides a strong foundation for long-term cooperation.
The objective is to develop advanced armoured vehicle solutions that meet the requirements of Polish defence and security authorities while also offering competitive alternatives for international markets.
