ADEX 2025

The 2025 edition of ADEX, the Aerospace & Defense Exhibition that takes place every two years in Seoul, was moved from the Seongnam Air Base to the Korea International Exhibition Center, its stands covering 49,000 m2, a considerable increase compared to the 2023 edition. More exhibitors, 600 versus 550. From 35 countries, although the great majority were national companies, the Republic of Korea being among those countries that aims at becoming as autonomous as possible in terms of defence equipment. Not only, South Korean defence systems have found considerable success on the export market, which incomes further increase the research and development effort that allows new technologies to become part of the next generation of military systems. That said, cooperation with foreign defence industry champions remains strong, which led numerous international defence industry majors to be present at the Seoul event, several cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding being announced, that should lead at common developments in the coming years.

Several new systems were unveiled at ADEX 2025. Some of them are the subject of the articles hereafter.
