Eurosatory 2026 – Ukraine unveils Sirena naval drone
The Ukrainian company “Center of Innovative Technologies Program” presented a model of the Sirena fully autonomous unmanned surface vehicle (USV) on the Spetstechnoexport (STE) stand at Eurosatory. It is equipped with electronic warfare (EW) and air defense systems (ADS)
As explained to EDR On-Line at the company’s booth, the USV’s trimaran hull configuration ensures increased stability, good seaworthiness, and high speed. The trimaran USV has a range of 800 km, a maximum speed of up to 90 km/h, and an endurance up to 24 hours. It can carry a payload up to 300 kg. Sirena can operate autonomously, semi-autonomously, and remotely, without the need for line-of-sight communication with the control center and is specifically designed for complex EW operations in restricted and contested waters.
The forward section of the USV houses a flat antenna for the Starlink satellite system, while a toroidal antenna for the backup communications system is located on a protruding pedestal astern.

According to the developers, the key feature of the system is its integrated multi-band Scorpion V5 electronic countermeasures and electronic intelligence system, operating in a wide frequency range from 300 to 6,000 MHz. This enables the platform to simultaneously jam enemy communications, global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals, and drone control channels. The system can remain in standby mode for up to 10 days, with an active operational duration of 100 hours. The effective electronic countermeasure range for enemy assets reaches 30 km. The Scorpion V5 system suppresses navigation systems, in particular autopilots. It can also operate against long-range attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) such as the Shahed.
Furthermore, to ensure high combat effectiveness, the trimaran is also equipped with a Pelican V1 radar and a Sea Dragon guided missile launcher.
It should be noted that all the systems used on the new platform in their naval configuration have already been developed by the “Center of Innovative Technologies Program” and are included in its export product catalog. These land-based systems were presented at the Spetstechnoexport booth next to the SIRENA USV model.

The Sea Dragon SAM system installed on the SIRENA USV carries two AIM-9M or R73 SAMs, while the integration of the AIM-9X missile is still underway. The Sea Dragon uses two LAU-73D Mod 2rail-type launchers. It has a launch readiness time of 120 seconds, an active autonomous mode of 8 hours, and a standby mode of 14 days. It is controlled via the Starlink system and can be used in sea states up to 3. The SAM’s range is 15 km.
According to the developers of the Sirena, this system delivers persistent electronic denial, maritime reconnaissance support, and rapid-response coastal protection across both littoral and offshore zones. At the same time, EDR On-Line believes that the SIRENA USV can be used to protect tactical groups of kamikaze USV strike forces from air strikes by aircraft, helicopters, or UAVs.
