Thales named among top companies for the second year by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for its Corporate Responsibility policy

First added to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) in 2015, Thales has again been included in the Europe and World indices published by RobecoSAM, a Swiss company specialised in Sustainability Investing. For the second year running, the Group received the second-highest score in the Aerospace and Defence sector.

These extra-financial indices are the most widely recognised by international investors, and only include companies with very high social responsibility performance ratings.

Out of 39 Aerospace and Defence companies assessed worldwide, only five are considered as highly sustainable. This year, Thales improved its overall score by 6 points, performing particularly well on the criteria of materiality and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) but also for its social, environmental and export control policies, where the Group obtained the highest scores worldwide in the sector.

With these rankings, RobecoSAM has recognised the value of the proactive policy of Corporate Responsibility pursued by the Group for the last 15 years and its performance in terms of Environmental, Social and Governance factors.
