► 1st Quarter 2020 results in COVID times
EDR On-Line usually does not publish the quarterly results, limiting publication to half-year and full-year ones. However the world is living a very peculiar moment, in which a virus, beside the heavy death toll, has forced humanity to change its habits, with heavy impacts on industry and economy.
We considered thus that it might be interesting for our readers to regroup the Q1 Reports that we received. We do not pretend to carry out an analysis of those results, which anyway show how much the defence industry has a life on its own, some companies showing improved results over those of Q1 2019, due to the signature of some deals, while other have worsen their performances, a sawtooth trend being typical of a business that lives out of major contracts.
