► Day & Zimmermann, Battelle, and EURENCO partner to develop and propose a safe and secure advanced manufacturing solution for expected Holston Army Ammunition Plant Procurement

31 March 2022 – Day & Zimmermann (D&Z), the 120 year old, family-owned provider of defense solutions, construction and engineering, and staffing for leading corporations and governments around the world, announced today that its Munitions & Government unit has teamed with Battelle Memorial Institute (Columbus, Ohio) and EURENCO (Europe) to pursue the Operations and Management contract of the Holston Army Ammunition Plant (HSAAP) located in Kingsport, Tennessee. The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, the Project Director Joint Services, and the Joint Munitions Command announced the planned competition for the production of explosives and the operation of the HSAAP with an anticipated 10-year term and award in Fiscal Year 2023.
