► Elettronica Group expands its horizons with a new company called EltHub.

Elettronica SpA has acquired 70 percent of EltHub, a new company created with G&A Engineering Srl following the transfer of the latter’s strategic assets. The new concern aims to enhance its presence in the defence, security and civil sectors. Already strongly oriented towards research and development, EltHub is looking forward to facing new challenges and new markets.

EltHub will have a new corporate structure with Eng. Marco Giordano as General Director, Amaury Choppin as chairman, and Lorenzo Benigni and Giorgia Pontetti as members of the board of directors.

“For Electronica, a company with 70 years’ experience in the electromagnetic spectrum domain and with a consolidated heritage in the cyber and homeland security fields, EltHub forms part of our Tenet 2030 strategic plan. This will see us engaged over the next ten years meeting the company’s strategic objectives which focus on the further innovation of our products and services, including the integration of the electronic warfare with the cyber and space domains. It will also see our expansion towards new regions and the entry of the company into new competitive markets, like medical and critical infrastructures. In this sense, the acquisition also strengthens the sustainability of our corporate value proposition” said Lorenzo Benigni, Elettronica’s chief executive officer and president.

G&A Engineering’s contribution to EltHub focuses on expertise and products supporting the electronics, space, defence, automotive, industrial and electromedical sectors, together with specific expertise in applied research in microelectronics for space and military applications. The company also has expertise in fields such as hydroponic greenhouses, 3D food printers, and cyber resilience systems.

EltHub enjoys total production independence possessing a mechanical workshop, a production line for the construction and testing of electronic boards and a certified high performance clean room that meets class 10 (ISO 4) standards. All these features give EltHub unique capabilities helping it become the point of reference within the Elettronica Group.
