► Grupo Oesía to manufacture in Spain key components of Lockheed Martin’s PAC-3 MSE defence system
Madrid, 22nd of January, 2026 – Grupo Oesía, through its subsidiary Tecnobit, specialised in cutting-edge technological products and solutions, intelligent vision, simulation, and secure tactical communications, has reached a new milestone within the Patriot Advanced Capability – PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) programme, the world’s most advanced defence system, after being selected by Lockheed Martin to develop a specialised production line for this system.
The agreement was officially endorsed during an institutional event attended by executives from Grupo Oesía and Lockheed Martin, together with representatives from Spain’s Ministry of Defence and the United States Embassy in Spain.
This new contract is part of the agreement formalised in 2024 between the United States and Spain for the acquisition of the PAC-3 MSE system and its associated support equipment, as well as the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Lockheed Martin and Grupo Oesía to enable the future production of system components in Spain.
The project, which involves the production in Spain of highly specialised cables and harnesses for the PAC-3 MSE, will allow Tecnobit–Grupo Oesía to expand its current capabilities and processes within the framework of the highly demanding PAC-3 MSE programme, while strengthening its position as a leading industrial supplier in international defence programmes.
“The progress Tecnobit–Grupo Oesía and Sener have made toward their production goals is a win for both U.S. and Spanish national defence,” said Brian Kubik, Vice President of PAC-3 Programs at Lockheed Martin. “The participation of Spanish industry in the PAC-3 MSE supply chain strengthens its resilience as we increase production and provides key industrial capabilities to Spain.”
Héctor Roldán, CEO of Grupo Oesía, added: “This project represents a step forward in Grupo Oesía’s contribution to the development of high-level technological and industrial capabilities in Spain. Through this programme, we will consolidate our role within the international PAC-3 MSE supply chain and expand our expertise in the field of defence systems.”
This new agreement marks the beginning of a four-year implementation phase, which will culminate in the delivery by Tecnobit–Grupo Oesía of fully certified components to Lockheed Martin’s PAC-3 MSE production line in Camden, Arkansas.
