EDEX 2021

After a first successful exhibition in 2018, EDEX was among the many defence shows which fall victim of the pandemic, the 2020 edition having been cancelled due to COVID-19 issues. The event was postponed, hence 2021 sees Egyptian and international companies gathering once again at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in New Cairo.

The exhibition is held under the patronage of  the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Over 400 exhibitors exhibit their latest technology and equipment and across land, sea and air domains.

EDEX organisers expect over 30,000 visitors at the New Cairo venue, together with a number of VIP and international military delegations. The following articles try to provide our readers with the news seen at EDEX as well as with information on potential programmes in Egypt and the north-Africa geographic area.
