Elistair enhances Khronos tactical capabilities with new Dual Payload configuration
Lyon, France – November 18, 2025 – Elistair, the global leader in tethered drone systems for surveillance and tactical communications, unveils the Khronos “Dual Payload”, a new configuration that combines a Silvus StreamCaster 4200P tactical radio and a Nextvision DragonEye2 EO camera on the Khronos dronebox.
This dual payload setup transforms the Khronos into a multi-mission aerial mast, capable of providing both secure communication relay and persistent ISR. Acting as a Variable Height Antenna (VHA), it extends and stabilizes tactical mesh networks, maintaining continuous, resilient radio links even in GNSS-denied or complex environments.
Retaining its proven endurance and performance — with 24 hours of continuous operation and a 60-meter operational altitude — the Khronos “Dual Payload” offers a reliable and instantly deployable solution for special forces and tactical units that require both communication and observation capabilities from a single system.
Designed for special forces and deployed military units, this new configuration demonstrates Elistair’s commitment to continuously adapting its technology to meet the evolving needs of its customers and modern battlefields.
The Khronos “Dual Payload” will be unveiled for the first time at Milipol 2025, on Elistair’s stand 5F147.
