The 9th edition of the Expodefensa trade fair opened its doors from December 5 to 7, 2023 in Bogotá. It was inaugurated by the Minister of Defence of Colombia, Iván Velásquez Gómez, accompanied by senior political and official figures at the local and international level. A maritime area featured models of warships, submarines, naval combat systems, and naval support equipment. In the air zone visitors could find models of fighter jets, helicopters, air defence systems, and aviation support equipment. Finally, an area dedicated to cyber issues gathered cybersecurity solutions, intelligence and surveillance systems.
