IDV to deliver 860 additional tactical logistics trucks to the Romanian Armed Forces

Bolzano, March 10, 2026 – IDV has signed the contract for the supply of the third tranche of trucks to the Romanian Ministry of National Defense, included in the framework agreement signed on

December 30, 2019, for a total of over 2,900 high-mobility trucks.

The first phase saw the delivery of 942 vehicles, followed by a second batch of 1,107 vehicles delivered between 2023 and 2026. The 860 vehicles of the third tranche will be delivered over the next three years. The trucks supplied to the Romanian Armed Forces are based on IDV’s High Mobility range, one-third of which will be equipped with an armored cabin.

The production and delivery of these additional 860 high-mobility trucks is a strong signal that further demonstrates IDV’s commitment and closeness to the Romanian Armed Forces and its full integration and collaboration with Romania’s industrial fabric.

The supply of over 2,900 trucks to the Romanian National Defense consolidates IDV’s position as a leading supplier of heavy tactical and logistic high-mobility vehicles in Europe.

In addition to Romania, the Italian Army has signed an agreement with IDV for the supply of 1,453 trucks in 2024, extended in 2025 for an additional 658 vehicles. The Dutch Ministry of Defense has also placed its trust in IDV, signing a contract for the supply of 785 vehicles in May 2025.
