LAAD 2023

From April 11 to 14 the defence world gathered at Riocentro, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for the LAAD 2023 defence and security exhibition. Inaugurated by the Brazilian Defence Minister Jose Mucio, the venue hosted some 400 exhibitors from all over the world, which proposed their products to the Brazilian armed forces as well as to other Latin America official delegations. Brazilian Armed Forces are currently undergoing a considerable modernisation effort in all three services, while adding space and cyber to the three traditional domains to ensure multi-domain capacity. Beside the exhibition, LAAD also hosted the X Military International Logistics Symposium. Logistics being a key element in any military operation as demonstrated in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

Herafter our readers can find the articles detailing some of the systems seen at LAAD.
