► The establishing of WB Romania
2 April 2026Bucharest, Poland – WB GROUP launches WB Romania, its new entity on the Romanian market. It is the Group’s first subsidiary within the European Union outside Poland and another step in the consistent expansion of its international presence.
The decision to enter the Romanian market is part of WB GROUP’s broader European growth strategy. Romania is currently one of the most important markets in the region, both from an industrial and security perspective. It plays an increasingly significant role in ensuring the stability of NATO’s eastern flank.
Favorable business conditions, along with access to a highly skilled workforce and specialized partners, make the Romanian market a strong addition to WB GROUP’s capabilities. Local competencies can support projects not only in the region but also across other international markets where the Group operates.
For years, WB GROUP has been developing unmanned systems as well as solutions in the fields of communications, command, and operational support. One of its core strengths, however, lies in system integration and the creation of coherent environments in which different systems operate seamlessly together.
These solutions are designed as part of a broader ecosystem, enabling data exchange, enhanced situational awareness, and coordinated operations – both within WB GROUP systems and in integration with partner solutions.
The establishment of WB Romania also strengthens cooperation across Central and Eastern Europe. WB GROUP continues to develop partnerships in the region, building capabilities based on shared experience and clearly defined operational needs.
Today, Poland and Romania are linked not only by economic cooperation but also by concrete actions in the field of security. The presence of Polish military units in Romania and Romanian units in Poland reflects a shared approach to emerging threats. The creation of WB Romania is a natural extension of this cooperation at the industrial level.
WB GROUP’s international expansion to date has included entities such as WB Ukraine, WB America, and WBE Technologies in Malaysia. The establishment of WB Romania marks the extension of this footprint into the EU market, while maintaining a consistent operational model across the Group.
