► C-UAS – AEC Skyline and ForcePro join forces
29 March 2022 – On 22 March, the CEOs of AEC Skyline and ForcePro, Stef Have and Theo Karafantis, signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) capabilities within the Benelux countries. This agreement covers both military and civilian applications of C-UAS technology, which are becoming increasingly important given the proliferation of unmanned systems and the danger this poses.
By joining forces, this new market player aims for a broader reach. The knowledge and expertise gained by specialists from both companies are complementary. This will enable the newly created partnership to focus even more than before on providing cost-effective total solutions to its customers.
About AEC Skyline, Force Pro
AEC Skyline has many years of experience in providing aerial services (close air support, electronic warfare, ISR) and critical data solutions (systems integration, IT networking) to the Netherlands and foreign armed forces, the defence industry and research institutes. In addition, the company represents various suppliers of relevant mission systems in the Netherlands. As such, the company has extensive knowledge when it comes to handling various types of sensors, EW systems, accessing data as well as setting up an overarching systems architecture.
ForcePro, for its part, has earned its spurs by winning and satisfactorily executing various tenders in the C-UAS domain, representing the internationally operating DroneShield company, the latter known for its effective C-UAS technology (detection, effectors, command & control) that is easy to work with.
It is the firm belief of both CEOs that the two parties will strengthen each other when it comes to delivering and maintaining solutions that cover the entire C-UAS chain, from detection, identification and classification to interception that is. In the meantime, the new partnership has gotten off to a flying start and is already participating jointly in various projects.
