► EURENCO and PGZ accelerate strategic partnership: PGZ Board visits Bergerac as key milestones are confirmed

Bergerac, Marc 18, 2026 – EURENCO and Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) are pleased to announce a major acceleration in their industrial cooperation, marked today by an official visit of the PGZ Management Board to EURENCO’s production site in Bergerac, France. This visit coincides with the formal confirmation by both companies’ boards of new strategic milestones in the creation of their joint venture for 155mm artillery propellants and Bi-Modular Charge Systems (BMCS).

The visit allowed PGZ leadership to witness firsthand the latest-generation industrial capabilities that EURENCO will deploy in Poland. By partnering with EURENCO in October 2025—the “Design Authority” across the entire value chain, from multi base propellant to final assembly— PGZ is securing a proven technology transfer that comprehensively mitigates all risks associated with the localization of the project in Pionki. Furthermore, the arrangement ensures continuous delivery of raw materials, thereby safeguarding the integrity, reliability, and uninterrupted execution of the entire manufacturing process.

The project is centered on a clear objective: “duplicating” EURENCO’s successful Bergerac industrial model in Poland to ensure a simple, safe, and efficient technology transfer. With over several million BMCS units produced over the last years, EURENCO brings unparalleled mass-production expertise to the partnership. This cooperation aims for a rapid industrial ramp-up in Pionki by 2028, leveraging established safety standards and high-performance production techniques

Thierry FRANCOU, CEO of EURENCO, stated: “We are honored to welcome the PGZ Management Board to Bergerac today. This visit is a powerful symbol of our operational progress. Our future production plant in Pionki will be directly based on our new modular charge and propellant lines here in Bergerac, which was remarkably constructed and commissioned in less than nine months. By replicating this industrial success in Poland, we will set up a high-performance production capability in record time, we will enhance the European autonomy in the field of energetic materials and meet the Polish sovereignty needs.”

Adam LESZKIEWICZ, President of the Management Board of PGZ, added: “The goal of the cooperation with EURENCO is to launch production of multi-base powder and modular charges in Poland as quickly as possible. The plant will be located in Pionki, on the premises of Mesko, one of our companies. We are intensively negotiating technical terms and are seeking a final agreement with a joint venture partner. The visit to France is a significant step in this direction, allowing us not only to see the completed twin factory but also to confirm the final design agreements. The competences and production capabilities gained through cooperation with EURENCO will enable us to meet the needs of the Polish Army and our allies even better.”
