ILA 2026
For five days from June 10 – 14, 2026, the aviation world gathered at the Berlin ExpoCenter Airport, on the Berlin Brandenburg airport. ILA, for Internationale Luftfahrt-Ausstellung (International Aviation Exhibition) saw the light in 1909 in Frankfurt, but since 1928 it was moved to Berlin, to move to once again west during the Cold War, and finally back to Berlin in 1992.
The 2026 edition saw the participation of 765 exhibitors from 37 countries and attracted 330 delegations from 60 countries and around 110,000 visitors, around 199 aircraft being on display, static and flying.
Unmanned air vehicles were among the key topics, the new Drone Pavilion featuring the Drone Cage to allow live demonstrations. Space was another key topic.
Among the main aircraft exhibited at the static display it is worth mentioning the Boeing P-8A Poseidon MPA, and the MQ-28 Ghost Bat unmanned test aircraft developed by Boeing Australia in partnership with the Royal Australian Air Force. The flying display featured the Leonardo AW249 combat helicopter and the EC665 Tiger, as well as the Eurofighter and Tornado.
