Rheinmetall Talks 2018
As every year Rheinmetall gathered a group of defence journalists to talk about the latest developments in the various products segments that constitute the company portfolio. Usually held in Berlin, this year the Rheinmetall Talks have been organised in Vienna, adding to the one day briefing the visit to the Business Unit Logistic Vehicles production facility, where military trucks from the Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) joint venture are build. On day two it was also possible to drive-test the RMMV trucks on the Austrian Army test track at Haschendorf, some 30 km south of the Austrian capital. Day three was finally devoted to the briefings, ranging from armoured vehicles to unmanned vehicles, to artillery, active protection, air defence and digitisation.
