► ASELSAN and Barzan Holdings Sign Contract for Enhancing Their Cooperation in Qatar
25 March 2022 – ASELSAN and Barzan Holdings have signed a Contract and 4 Letters of Intent (LOI) at the DIMDEX 2022, Qatar’s biennial Maritime Defense Exhibition.
The Contract includes the sale of communication systems and services for the land platforms that are in use with various Qatar Armed Forces end-user. The Letters of Intent (LOIs) signify the further collaboration between ASELSAN and Barzan Holdings on possible future agreements for procurement of ASELSAN solutions and services for the Qatari User Groups.
ASELSAN, one of the top defense companies, shall directly contribute to the localization of defense industry of Qatar as a part of the strategic alliance with Barzan Holdings. In the scope of signed LOI with respect to transfer of technology, ASELSAN shall transfer the knowledge, knowhow and technology for waveform development of software defined radios to the Qatar Armed Forces.
As a strong strategic partner ASELSAN aims to further strengthening for safe and reliable communication of Qatari End users to achieve their aim to secure Qatari citizens and assets.
